Fred Wilson was formed in Los Angeles circa 1999, when vocalist/guitarist Jason Gajda, bassist Bryan Dobbs, guitarist Weston Radcliffe and drummer Ward Poulos decided to combine their collective musical force into a unique style of music that would be known as "Action Rock N Roll."

Since then, the group’s sound has evolved into a cocktail of tight guitar riffs, thumping rhythm tracks and action-packed, story-telling lyrics that leave you wanting to hear them again and again…

 
 
Fred Wilson has been inspired by a wide variety of artists such as: the Beastie Boys, Soul Coughing, James Brown, Tom Waits, John Spencer, Morphine, and the list goes on. But take a listen to their recent release, "Action Rock N Roll" and you will discover that they have a sound that defies traditional genres and is truly all their own.
